New Forest Designs offers bespoke and handmade window dressings including high quality roman blinds and handmade curtains. Each bespoke window dressing is made by us. We are proud to provide fully handmade window dressings, not simply hand finished, and we use the best interlining, lining, blackout and professional tracks and poles. Bespoke handmade window dressings from New Forest Designs are provided as part of a complete service that includes professional advice on the best way to dress the window, a survey to measure the window opening, the order and delivery of free fabric samples for the clients perusal, free estimate of costs, order of the fabric and all materials and creation of your beautiful curtains or blinds. The service is finished with a special personal touch which includes delivery and dressing. We have a beautiful and wide range of poles and professional tracks that can also form part of the bespoke service. The fitting of your new bespoke window dressing can also be taken care of by a professional fitter.
Handmade Roman Blinds There are a variety of options for handmade roman blinds, from great value recess blinds to a high end finish. The last one is made to look like a pelmet with the use of integrated track side covers hiding the track and providing you with a beautiful finish to the window as fitted outside the recess. This clever method reduces the flow of the light to a minimum when blind is down and increases the light to a maximum when the blind is pulled up. It also allows you to use your window sill for displaying photos or keeping plants as the blind comes outside the sill. Don't forget trims, beads, boarders and waterfall can all make your new bespoke blind absolutely outstanding.
Handmade Curtains All of the bespoke curtains can be light, soft and great value but the handmade curtains that really stand out are the ones that are made with the best interlining, quality lining and optionally added blackout if made for the bedroom. You can distinguish those below that have that added extra, with a different top finish. The advice is provided on the assessment of the window and the type of property you live in. Some homes benefit from triple, double or single pleated curtains, some from a soft single pleat and some require something more decadent like added trim, beaded trim or boarders. This extra attention to detail allows your new window dressing to really impress you, your family and guests.
